Responsibilities

The ITA is now looking to increase its multinational IT team of 8 members with a committed and passionate software developer with experience in database programming to support the maintenance and development of its existing and new software systems.

The Database Programmer will be involved in various development areas of the ITA’s software products – with a specific focus on database programming.

Key elements of the job role:

  • Write programming code in T-SQL (queries, views, functions, stored procedures).
  • Contribute to the architecture of the databases.
  • Maintain and operate third level support (e.g. database level bug fixing).
  • Contribute to business and functional analysis.
  • Increase the in-house knowledge of database programming languages.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Developer.
  • Proficiency in using T-SQL.
  • Experience with:
    • Microsoft products and development tools;
    • Microsoft SQL Server database monitoring and optimisations.
  • Openness to learn new programming languages and technologies.
  • Collaborative, team player attitude.
  • Positive, ‘can do’ mindset.
  • Hard-working personality.
  • Very good English communication skills – written & oral.

Nice-to-have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
  • Experience with other database systems.
