Responsibilities
As a European Grant Writer, you will be at the crossroads of education and innovation, crafting impactful proposals for international initiatives. You will:
- Study and interpret application categories, ensuring compliance with eligibility, funding, and structural requirements.
- Conceptualize and develop project proposals in line with EU funding objectives.
- Write compelling, structured narratives emphasizing innovation and measurable impact.
- Prepare budgets and manage associated financial planning.
- Conduct market research and draft supporting documents including programme plans, MEL strategies, dissemination frameworks, etc.
- Collaborate with project managers on reporting duties.
- Manage tender platforms such as the Beneficiary Module and the Funding and Tender Portal.
Requirements
- Fluent English
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking
- Experience in grant writing and proposal development
- Budget planning skills
- Proficiency in market analysis
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Proactive and adaptable mindset
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- In-depth knowledge of EU funding mechanisms (e.g., Horizon2020, Erasmus+, especially capacity building and Centers of Excellence)
- Understanding of the EU’s strategies on education and innovation
- Awareness of current trends in EU educational and innovation policy
Nice-to-have
- Educational background in International Relations, European Studies, Political Science, Public Policy, or related fields
- Experience with EU project management platforms
- Interest in working in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment
- Motivation for lifelong learning and professional growth
- Willingness to travel internationally
