• Analyze client needs and provide strategic, expert guidance on leveraging GIS technologies to meet and exceed their business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including software developers, business analysts, and industry experts—to design and implement robust, scalable geospatial solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing digital ecosystems.
• Lead the deployment and integration of GIS applications, ensuring they align with agile project methodologies and enhance workflow efficiency.
• Develop comprehensive strategic recommendations and best practices for spatial data management, analysis, and visualization, tailoring these to each client’s unique requirements.
• Deliver high-quality training, technical support, and presentations to both internal teams and external clients, simplifying complex spatial concepts for diverse audiences.
• Proactively assess project requirements and design scalable solutions to address intricate spatial challenges, including data accuracy, coordinate system transformations, and performance optimization.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging geospatial technologies by participating in professional conferences, workshops, and thought leadership forums, ensuring our consulting services remain cutting-edge.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and insights that refine our agile processes and elevate our client deliverables.
Requirements
Professional Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Geomatics, Geography, or a related field.
• Proven experience in GIS consulting, project management, or a similar role, with a demonstrable track record of successful geospatial implementations and client engagements.
Skills:
• Proficiency in leading GIS platforms and tools, along with strong working knowledge of spatial databases.
• Deep understanding of geodetic principles, coordinate systems, and spatial data processing techniques.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex spatial concepts to non-technical audiences and influence decision makers.
• Agile mindset with proven experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive, solution-oriented approach in addressing technical and operational challenges.
• Strong team orientation and a passion for continuous learning, ensuring you remain at the forefront of the latest advancements in GIS and digital transformation.
Language & International Collaboration:
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing; additional language skills are an asset.
• A demonstrated enthusiasm for working on international projects as part of a diverse, global team, coupled with excellent customer communication skills.
