1. Lead and manage the accounts payable team to ensure efficient outcomes for both customers and the business.
2. Act as an escalation point for team members, providing support as needed.
3. Coach and develop team members through one-on-one sessions and group meetings.
4. Ensure adherence to department processes and best practices.
5. Oversee invoice processing and monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
6. Maintain accurate financial records, including the general ledger.
7. Foster strong supplier relationships and resolve queries promptly.
8. Prepare account analyses and assist with month-end closing.
9. Provide detailed transaction explanations and audit documentation.
10. Perform additional duties as needed.
