Responsibilities
- Build web services that are highly scalable and fault-tolerant
- Design, build and operate backend services involving APIs
- Design, develop and release new functionalities and features to the Volteum platform
- Drive and participate in the operation of our Google Cloud infrastructure
- Automation, script writing, and support of CI/CD with Github Actions
- Participating in integration processes of electrification solutions for major integration partners
- Improve the test coverage for core functionalities
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software components
- Ensuring the security and protection of systems
- Support, refine and suggest improvements to the current code base and new features
- Communicate and cooperate with internal developers
Requirements
- 6 years+ experience in full-stack, front-end or backend engineering
- ‘Get things done’ attitude with attention to details
- Strong working knowledge with Python
- Strong working knowledge with Typescript (we use Vue.js)
- Interest in AI-assisted development
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Practical experience with building CI/CD pipelines
- Experience deploying environments in GCP, AWS or Azure
- Capability to manage projects individually from scratch
- Confident verbal and written Hungarian and English communication skills
- Reliable candidate who can also work and manage situations independently
- Have a passion for building things and resilience when those things fail
- Strong problem-solving skills in a high-pressure environment
Nice-to-have
- Experience with Vue.js
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with GitHub Actions
- Previous experience at a startup
- Experience with high-performance, scalable cloud infrastructure
