Responsibilities
- Project Safety Management Planning
Responsible for the overall planning and coordination of safety management throughout the project implementation. This includes developing implementation plans and specific safety measures, drafting safety management regulations and implementation guidelines, formulating project safety management reward and penalty policies, emergency response plans, and other procedural documents. Additionally, ensuring the effective supervision and enforcement of these policies and measures. - Safety Management Team Formation
Organizing safety management personnel from all relevant project participants and contractors to establish a dedicated project safety management team. This involves setting up organizational structures and workflows, assigning responsibilities, and supervising team activities to ensure effective execution of safety management tasks. - On-site Safety Management
Acting as the on-site safety management leader, overseeing all safety-related tasks during project execution. This includes conducting daily safety inspections, organizing and leading safety meetings, summarizing key safety findings, implementing corrective measures, and supervising the safety practices of all relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with established safety protocols. - Liaison with Regulatory Agencies and Third Parties
Managing daily communication and procedural coordination with occupational health and safety regulatory agencies. This includes facilitating safety inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and handling applications for necessary safety permits and approvals.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree and above in Safety Engineering is required
- Proficient in local HS (Health & Safety) regulations and legal standards for construction projects in Europe.
- Familiar with the local European construction industry, consulting industry, and factory operations safety management.
Experience
- Minimum of five years of experience in safety management at large-scale local projects within Europe, either in a consulting firm or a construction company.
- Experience in leading or participating in at least one large-scale construction project in Europe with responsibility for on-site safety management.
- Familiarity with local engineering safety technologies, on-site management processes, legal regulations, and project safety requirements.
