Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision
• Develop and execute the company’s long-term strategy to drive revenue growth, customer adoption, and global expansion.
• Position MEGA as a leader in secure cloud storage, VPN services, password management, and encrypted communication.
• Establish and implement a structured corporate strategy that aligns with industry best practices for a potential future public listing.
• Maintain a strong focus on data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance while balancing innovation and market demands.
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer-centricity within the organization.
Operational & Financial Management
• Oversee the financial health of the company, ensuring profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
• Lead fundraising efforts, investor relations, and capital allocation strategies.
• Implement corporate governance structures and financial transparency to meet the standards expected for a publicly traded company.
• Drive operational efficiency through effective team structures, resource allocation, and technology investments.
• Set clear KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate business success and ensure accountability.
Product & Technology Innovation
• Guide product development and engineering teams to build and enhance best-in-class secure cloud storage, VPN, password manager, and chat solutions.
• Stay ahead of technological trends, ensuring the company remains competitive in encryption, zero-knowledge security, and cloud-based services.
• Lead AI-driven automation and machine learning adoption for improved security, user experience, and operational efficiency.
Market Growth & Customer Engagement
• Expand the company’s customer base through strategic partnerships, B2B and B2C go-to-market strategies, and strong brand positioning.
• Drive marketing and sales efforts to increase user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
• Enhance the customer experience by ensuring a seamless, secure, and high-performing product ecosystem.
Corporate Governance & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to global data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and security best practices.
• Maintain transparent corporate governance, ethical leadership, and compliance with international regulations.
• Serve as the primary representative of the company with investors, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
• At least 5 years of experience as a CEO in a technology company.
• Proven track record as a senior executive or founder in a SaaS, cybersecurity, or cloud storage company.
• Deep understanding of cloud storage, encryption, privacy-focused technologies, and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Strong business acumen with experience in scaling SaaS businesses and leading product-driven organizations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.
• Experience in fundraising, investor relations, and corporate governance.
• Strong knowledge of global data protection regulations and compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a company through financial structuring and readiness for a potential stock market listing.
• Must speak fluent English and Hungarian.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
