We believe the future of software is 100% AI-generated. The era of typing code by hand is over. We’re looking for ambitious engineers — not juniors, not stuck-in-their-ways seniors, but hungry builders in the middle who know they’re capable of more and are ready to grow fast.
As a Superbuilder (AI-first Engineer), you won’t waste your talent grinding out syntax. You’ll use AI agents to design, generate, and ship entire products. Your experience gives you the judgment to know what great software looks like; AI gives you the leverage to build it 10x faster. Success in this role means you stop being underutilized — and start becoming the engineer you always knew you could be.
This role is remote-first, but we love to connect in person at our Budapest office. If you’re based in Hungary, even better — we’d be thrilled to grow our core team here and meet face-to-face sometimes. If you’re outside Hungary, you can still apply — but know that our home base is Budapest.
Responsibilities
• Build complete software products using AI agents — from concept to production
• Guide AI-generated code into clean, scalable, and production-ready systems
• Use AI tools for debugging, optimization, and testing instead of manual toil
• Collaborate with a global team pushing the boundaries of AI-first development
Requirements
Qualifications
• Proven software engineering experience — you’ve shipped real products, not just demos
• Strong skills in at least 2 languages (TypeScript, Java, Python, C#, .NET)
• Exposure to cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Curiosity, adaptability, and ambition — you’re frustrated where you are and hungry to grow into a world-class engineer by going all-in on AI
What we offer
Compensation
Superbuilder roles at Lightbloom start at $60,000/year (~$5,000/month). That’s the baseline. Many of our hires come in at this level and level up quickly. If you’re already operating at a higher standard, we’ll match it — we’ve brought people in at $100k straight away. There’s no cap here: we pay for ability, not for years on a CV.
