Must have
- At least 3 years experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or any other cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
- Proficiency in using Terraform, Git & Github Actions and Ansible for security automation and management
- Deep understanding of IT architectures including High Availability and Disaster Recovery
- Understanding of secure networking concepts and security practices like ZTA (Zero Trust Architecture)
- Experience working with and troubleshooting Oracle 19c (optionally also 23ai) RAC databases on Oracle Exadata machines
- Practical experience with Linux OS and hardening measures (Secure Linux)
- Profound Knowledge on SQL, PL\SQL, Shell programming, ideally also in other HL programming languages like C/C++/C#, Java, Python, etc.
- Experience with database Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) required
- Strong understanding of Oracle internals
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Informatics
- Proven experience in IT security engineering and DevSecOps automation or a similar role

- Work with the Service Assurance team and other groups in the organization to make sure that all events, incidents and problems are resolved as per SLA defined
- Administer and secure Oracle Linux systems, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards
- Design, implement and improve the standard for Exadata platform including operating system (Oracle Linux) and network design
- Recommend and implement best practices for security of Oracle BI/DWH databases in consideration of Oracle Exadata features
- Improve efficiency and quality of delivery by automating routine tasks
- Collaborate with the engineering team for Exadata / Oracle Database / Change Data Capture
