Experience & Skills 

• 10+ years of experience working in Agile product development environments (Scrum / Kanban).
• Strong background in information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
• Extensive experience designing for web and mobile platforms.
• Expert proficiency in Figma (and related prototyping tools).
• Proven ability to turn complex problems into simple, elegant user experiences.
• Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience with, or strong understanding of, AI-assisted design workflows is a plus.

We design, develop and maintain websites and web applications primarily using open source technologies.

Integral Vision is a team of about 20 people with a sociocratic approach focusing on autonomy and self-responsibility. Integrated and consent-based decision making, authority in our own domains, transparency and continuous improvement are the very foundations of our operation.

Overview 

We are looking for a senior UX / UI Designer to support the ongoing development of a digital product. The role focuses on creating clear, intuitive, and effective user experiences within a complex, business-critical environment. 

You will work closely with product ownership and engineering teams to translate business goals and user needs into well-structured, usable, and scalable design solutions. This is a hands-on role with real impact on the product’s evolution. 

What This Role Is (and Is Not) 

• This is not a junior or purely visual design role.
• This is a senior, thinking-driven position with responsibility and autonomy.
• The focus is on real product outcomes, not speculative concepts.

Engagement type: Part-time, project-based

Estimated capacity: ~45 hours / month – 1575 EUR (scope-dependent)

1. User-Centered Design & Research:
2. Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing, A/B testing).
3. Analyze user behavior, needs, and pain points, and translate findings into actionable design insights.
4. Contribute to shaping product scope, epics, and user stories together with the Product Owner.
5. Design Execution:
6. Create and maintain: ○ user journeys and UX flows, ○ low- and high-fidelity wireframes, ○ interactive prototypes (clickable, testable), ○ final high-fidelity UI designs.
7. Drive the design process end-to-end, from early concepts to implementation-ready designs.
8. Iterate designs based on feedback, technical constraints, and business priorities.
9. Design Systems & Consistency:
10. Work within an existing design system and contribute to its evolution.
11. Ensure visual and interaction consistency across platforms and features.
12. Collaboration:
13. Work closely with frontend engineers to ensure feasibility and high-quality implementation.
14. Clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to non-design stakeholders.
