- Lead the technical vision for your team’s domain, defining architectural strategy and ensuring the solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
- Develop and contribute high-quality code directly, setting the standard for the team and actively engaging in the implementation of core features.
- Force technical simplicity by challenging complex requirements and designs, ensuring the team develops the most elegant and minimal solutions possible.
- Mentor and coach a team of 3-6 developers, conducting regular 1:1s, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their professional growth.
- Establish and enforce modern engineering practices, including rigorous code reviews, comprehensive testing strategies, and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and other stakeholders to refine requirements, estimate effort, and prioritize the team’s roadmap for maximum business impact.
- Drive operational excellence by monitoring application performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements to service reliability and deployment speed.
