At CSI Leasing Hungary, a proud subsidiary of CSI Leasing, Inc. we are looking for a new colleague who would evaluate the creditworthiness of businesses, establish credit limits and develop policies to minimize financial risks in the Hungarian business. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate creditworthiness of potential clients and assess their financial stability, utilizing various financial analysis tools.
- Develop and implement effective credit risk management strategies and policies for the Hungarian market.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments of lease applications, considering market trends, industry risks, and customer profiles.
- Cooperate closely with sales and account management teams to establish credit limits and terms based on risk evaluations.
- Monitor existing clients’ financial performance and adherence to credit agreements; take proactive measures to mitigate credit risk.
- Analyse financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to make informed credit decisions.
- Stay updated on local and international financial regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance in credit operations.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners to enhance communication and streamline credit processes.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, highlighting credit portfolio performance and areas for improvement.
- Handle requests and assignments reliably and to the required quality and prioritize requests as required.
- Collaborate with internal customers from various departments (Legal, IT, Sales, and Marketing).
- Perform monitoring of business cases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience as a Credit Analyst or in a similar credit risk management role.
- Knowledge of Hungarian Accounting Standards.
- In-depth knowledge of Hungarian financial markets, regulations, and industry dynamics.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Professional English and native Hungarian level are required.
- Immediate availability is a plus.
