Responsibilities
· Oversee the daily (and month-end) activities the NAM AP team are responsible for.
· Manage team performance, create and implement objectives and development plans for direct reports.
· Ensure all performance appraisals are completed on time for all members of your team.
· Improve knowledge and skills within your team.
· Manage the NAM AP budget.
· Responsible for:
o achieving the challenging AP targets set for NAM each year.
o supporting the business by providing exceptional customer service to locations and resource units
o achieving high ASAT and audit results.
o ensuring all procedures are kept up to date.
o escalating issues/concerns about processes/targets, to the RtP GPO, in a timely manner.
o identifying process improvement opportunities and recording on the ‘Opportunities List’.
o working collaboratively with the RtP GPO, AP/PSC Managers, and the other regional AP BPOs to help achieve the best outcome for AP/PSC globally.
- Active participant in all AP related meetings, conference calls (Globally).
- Supports transition activities (including new acquisitions and divestitures).
- Develop and maintain internal and external relationships regarding specific business issues.
Requirements
- College degree in finance / accounting obtained at a college or university.
- 4-5 years of experience gained in financial areas.
- Proficiency in English language required.
- Professional knowledge of the AP module and integrated financial software packages (consulting level). Systems Technology Awareness (esp. Knowledge of their Functional Track & related Oracle Application) expertise.
- Working knowledge of ABS.
- Self-starter behavior working alone with minimal supervision.
- Leadership skills, strong people & performance management skills.
- Excellent written/oral communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Self-confidence, learning orientation, out-of-the-box thinking, judgment, initiative are needed in position.
- Professionalism, collaborative, customer focus, results oriented, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are absolutely essential.
