Responsibilities
- Planning and execution of statutory and ad-hoc audits in accordance with professional standards
- Risk assessment
- Testing of internal controls
- Detailed analysis of general ledger balances
- Preparation of audit reports
- Communication with clients, handling issues, and providing advisory support
Requirements
- Registered auditor with the Hungarian Chamber of Auditors
- Experience in statutory audits and special-purpose audits
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Hungarian accounting standards
- Excellent analytical and risk assessment skills
- Proficiency in modern audit technologies and using of AI
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hungarian and English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience in financial services or real estate sectors is a plus
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of audit
