Tasks
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer – Venture & Business Intelligence to support various data-driven projects related to venture portfolio monitoring, sales intelligence, and business analytics. The role involves designing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable data models and databases to facilitate strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will integrate data from multiple sources, develop automation solutions, and collaborate closely with analysts, business stakeholders, and reporting teams.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions in BigQuery, Snowflake, Fabric, or other modern database environments.
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines to consolidate data from various internal and third-party sources.
- Connect and integrate financial, sales, and operational data sources such as CRM systems, venture portfolio management platforms, and external data providers
- Support the development of semantic models to enable analytics, dashboards, and reporting.
- Work closely with business analysts, portfolio managers, and monitoring teams to translate business needs into technical data solutions.
- Support business continuity processes, including data backup strategies.
- Support teams in developing reports and dashboards with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc. (Dashboard work itself is covered by another role).
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Data Engineering with expertise in SQL-based solutions such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Fabric, or similar platforms.
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows and data automation.
- Strong background in data modeling, API integrations, and structured/unstructured data processing.
- Knowledge of venture capital, portfolio monitoring, sales analytics, or financial data intelligence is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and excellent English language skills

Our minimum salary for this position is a monthly gross salary of HUF 1,5M based on full-time employment. Of course, there is a willingness to pay more, depending on your qualifications and experience.
