The department is responsible for the core network (IP core, transport/WDM, and timing/synchronization) within the technology. From planning and development to the operation of the core network, we are responsible end-to-end, providing core network functions and capacities at the highest quality level, both nationally and internationally.
In the transport network of Deutsche Telekom Technik, we are currently experiencing an exciting technological and process transformation. - Continued/development of specific software for products and services throughout the entire development process in the area of responsibility. This involves the development of various new functionalities in different subsystems and services.
- Clarification of requirements in the area of responsibility and adaptation of the software for specific products and services.
- Carrying out the necessary programming work (coding).
- Installation, configuration, and administration of the software for specific products and services.
- Creation and maintenance of software documentation in the area of responsibility.
- Supporting the lifecycle management of the developed software for products and services by proactively contributing own ideas and improvement suggestions.
- Participation in the design of test automation and conducting tests.
