Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify new potential accounts & identify sales opportunities across the area within professional beauty and retail.
  • Execute an effective prospecting plan to generate new business inquiries and meetings.
  • Conduct new business meetings, demonstrations, prospective events to convert prospects to new accounts in line with area targets.
  • Management of a portfolio of accounts across the territory, with an efficient journey plan.
  • Define & implement business plans for accounts to support ongoing growth & target achievement.
  • Reporting to and working closely with the Director Of Operations to continually monitor and track partner performance (New & Existing) along with identifying training needs to support growth.
  • Increase penetration of portfolio, and improve ordering frequency and quantity in line with company goals and area targets.
  • Execute growth initiatives across accounts to include e-commerce platforms, fulfilment solutions, staff incentive & benefit programmes.
  • Maintain a relationship with all accounts that inspires brand continuance and growth.
  • Maintain daily calendar, call logs, expense reports, business reporting and any other administrative requirements key to the role.
  • Maintain a broad market and product knowledge base to support excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years equivalent commercial sales and B2B account management within retail, and a proven track record of delivering growth and achieving targets.
  • Drive, tenacity and resilience needed to meet company targets on an ongoing basis.
  • Relationship-focused with the ability to have commercial conversations that drives true partnership and results.
  • Confident in delivering presentations with impact and managing high-profile accounts.
  • Demonstration of autonomous working style.
  • Confident with IT including CRM systems/excel.
  • Willingness to travel in Europe on occasion for industry trade events. Usually 1-2 events per year. 

Nice-to-have

Experience with Canva is a welcome plus to have.
