Responsibilities

General Administration & Communications Specialist has 3 major roles: plays a crucial role in BUD site communication – content creation for our internal platforms and coordinate site events, manages travel expenses and supports invoice management. 

  • Participate in the development of Budapest overall communication plan, Support the Internal Communication platform’s day-to-day operations by gathering materials for posts, transcribing interviews, and performing other duties as assigned.    
  • Create and own communication content for Our Field Budapest channel posts.  
  • Support event coordination for site Connection weeks on a quarterly basis.  
  • Use the Travel and Expense web-based system to ensure queries are solved. Support employees and managers in travel expense questions.  
  • Manage invoices – distribute, upload to relevant platforms (SAP, SharePoint, Excel), labelling and scanning.    

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field; Degree in Communication is preferred.  
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role would be required.  
  • Effective communication and articulation skills are essential. The candidate should be willing to handle routine tasks as well 
  • The ideal candidate for delivering information in a sophisticated manner and managing communication within defined parameters.   
  • The individual must be discreet and safeguard sensitive information while also being creative and capable of thinking outside the box.
