Responsibilities
Partner in Pet Food (PPF) is an innovative, leading European pet food producer, supplying over 400 customers, including major grocery retailers, supermarkets, specialized pet shops in the 35 markets in which it operates.
PPF is the second largest producer of Retailer Brand wet and dry pet food in Europe, offering a full range of high quality cat and dog food products.
PPF employs around 3,000 staff and has operations in 10 countries.
We are looking for a Inventory Coordinator HU&SEE Cluster, who would like to be
a part of our international team.
Inventory coordinator is responsible for stock accuracy, product availability, daily execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
Duties and responsibilities:
Ensure market finished goods availability by:
- Monitor stock levels, production schedules, orders, and forecasts to ensure finished goods availability
- Take proactive actions to mitigate out-of-stock (OOS) risks (e.g. trigger warehouse movements, suggest demand plan changes, modify orders)
- Manage phase-in/phase-out processes for new/replaced items (especially hard changeovers)
- Execute short-term quota allocation based on agreed prioritization rules
- Collaborate closely with supply planners, demand planners, sales, transportation, warehousing, and customer service to resolve availability issues
- Play a key role in the daily S&DS process (stock exceptions, risk mitigation proposals)
- Other tasks assigned by the superior related to daily operation
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or economics
- Min. 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain (e.g., inventory or production planning, warehousing)
- Proven experience in supply chain, preferably in a similar industry
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to assess inventory data and make informed decisions.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Technical Proficiency: proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify root causes of stock availability supply issues and implement corrective actions.
- Other capabilities: Collaborative, Customer focus
- Communication level in English
