Responsibilities
- The incumbent serves as the Residential Maintenance Supervisor for the Embassy Housing with responsibility for administering its daily maintenance operations which covers the maintenance, repair and renovation work for 50 Government Owned and Long Term Leased buildings.
- Supervises the maintenance and repair work of a multi-trade crew and contractor crews engaged in the maintenance and repair of the US Embassy residences.
- Prioritizes and schedules work assignments, provides technical advice to multi-trade work crews and ensures the accuracy and quality of work performed by the crews. Writes technical scope of Work for maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
EXPERIENCE:
- 6 years of progressively responsible experience in the maintenance area (journeyman mechanic, planning, inspection or estimation).
- At least 1 of the 6 years must be supervisory.
- Must posses Hungarian Driver License C.
EDUCATION:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Must have completed vocational training journeyman mechanic skills in one of the major maintenance trades.
LANGUAGE:
- English: Good working knowledge in Reading/Writing/Speaking is required.
- Hungarian: Fluent in Reading/Writing/Speaking is required.
