Your key skills:
- PostgreSQL DBA expierience 3+ years
- Good understanding of PostgreSQL architecture
- High availability and disaster recovery solutions for the databases
- Migration techniques and technologies
- Performance tuning skills
- Skills in automation and scripting
- Experience working with the external customers
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics in English
- Cloud expertise (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Hands on Linux experience with PostgreSQL installation, upgrade and patching
- Fluent communication skills in English
Skills we’d consider a plus:
- Experience in any of the following DB engines: Oracle DB, MySQL / MariaDB, MS SQL Server, IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows
- Datadog knowledge
- Skills in programming and scripting: Bash, Python, Power Shell
- Skills with Terraform or Ansible
- Hands-on experience with Data Warehouses and columnar databases

Currently, we are looking for a Managed Cloud Database Administrator focusing on PostgreSQL to join our team in Poland.

- Working in on-call rotation to respond to database incidents from various customer environments and DB engines,
- Working on service requests for different DB admin activities such as backups, upgrades, performance analysis, DB provisioning,
- Working on transition projects to take new customer environments into DB team support,
- Working on small migration projects to move database workloads to the cloud,
- Building solutions to automate the DBA Service,
- Taking part in modernization projects for existing customers.
