- 3+ years Python backend experience (FastAPI or Flask preferred)
- 3+ years with TypeScript + React (Next.js experience is a strong plus)
- Strong SQL and database design skills (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deploying to any major cloud
- Ability to take ownership and deliver full features independently
- Comfortable working in an international, English-speaking environment
Strong Pluses (not mandatory)
- Realtime / WebRTC: signaling, TURN/STUN, track handling, media debugging
- Experience integrating ASR/ML pipelines (e.g., Hungarian speech recognition)
- Numerical/algebraic task checkers or math-related logic
- Cloudflare, Caddy/Nginx, ffmpeg, streaming/transcoding knowledge
- Familiarity with charting libraries and accessibility standards

- Build backend APIs using FastAPI, WebSockets, and modern Python architecture
- Develop frontend features using React / Next.js and TypeScript
- Implement teacher-facing dashboards, task flows, analytics, and UI components
- Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas and efficient SQL queries
- Work on authentication, RBAC, and secure session flows
- Handle basic DevOps tasks: Docker, CI/CD, observability, logging
- Participate in shaping a GDPR-compliant recording playback system
- Deliver production-ready software end-to-end with quality and reliability in mind
