Required Skills and Experiences
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Competency in Windows and Google Suite.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a testing role.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to analyze, improve, and take responsibility for QA processes within the SED ops team. This includes collaboration with the Team Lead and other QA team members to ensure optimal test coverage and high software quality.
- Experience using test case management tools and bug tracking software, such as Jira and TestRail.
- Familiarity with Android devices or above-average understanding of them.
- Experience working with large and complex sets of test cases.
- Previous experience in fast-paced environments is a strong advantage.
Desirable Skills and Experiences
- Experience working within a SCRUM/Agile framework.
- Familiarity with Android testing tools such as Espresso, Selenium, and Cucumber is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Linux/UNIX and related command line and scripting tools.
- Basic experience with MySQL and HeidiSQL/Workbench, along with the ability to query and manage databases and views.

You will be a vital member of our newest team, SED Operations, which is part of the Software Engineering Department (SED). This team focuses on three main areas: Level 3 Technical Support, Internal Tool Development, and New Game Onboarding.
In this role, your primary focus will be on the Growth and Launch aspects of the team, specifically taking ownership of testing for new game onboarding. You will work closely with stakeholders from the Growth team, as well as the Technical Support side of SED Ops, to ensure that we provide the best possible experience for our end users.
Your responsibilities will also include testing internal tools, with the potential to assist in test automation for that area. Additionally, you may contribute to investigating support issues as needed.
This role is critical in helping us deliver high-quality billing, advertising, and analytics solutions for some of the largest mobile games on the market.

- Take ownership of ensuring that the delivered product and service meet agreed-upon quality standards, while managing QA processes and activities to achieve these objectives.
- Represent the QA perspective within the team, acting as the voice of quality assurance.
- Identify and recommend remedial actions whenever deficiencies are found in QA processes, workflows, or tools.
- Serve as a center of excellence within the SED ops team, actively collaborating with the Team Lead to enhance and optimize QA practices.
- Participate as a dedicated tester in ongoing testing efforts within the SED ops team, engaging in regular synchronization with the entire QA team.
- Design comprehensive test cases and test plans.
- Execute test plans or drive their execution, including raising and investigating bugs and validating fixes.
- Prepare test systems and data to facilitate the smooth execution of planned test cases.
- Initiate exploratory testing sessions when necessary.
- Coordinate with third-party testing teams when required.
- Provide management with QA reports that demonstrate product quality and readiness for production.
- Contribute to improving test coverage and mitigating risks during the release of stories, new games, or game versions. Identify new tools and methodologies for improvement.
- Track issues related to game launches and delivery, retesting solutions to ensure that problems are resolved satisfactorily.
- Build and maintain a thorough understanding of Flexion features and products to leverage this knowledge in addressing support tickets.
