Feladatok
Safety and Compliance Engineer will be responsible for:
Reporting directly to the Head of Safety and Compliance, Safety and Compliance Engineer/s are responsible for:
• Managing safety and information security reporting system.
• Performing engineering investigations and analysis related to safety reports.
• Performing independent audits i.a.w. FLT WBS audit plan including non-conformances management.
• Managing follow-up actions in regard to safety investigations and identified non-conformances.
• Coordination and action on airworthiness occurrences, information security incidents, identified nonconformances vulnerabilities, and for initiating any necessary further investigation activity.
• Providing information and suggestions for improvement on safety management to the safety and compliance management
• Facilitation of various hazard identification, risk assessments and management of such within the FLT WBS group or external forums.
• Monitoring the implementation of actions taken to mitigate risks as listed in corrective and preventive actions within safety reports and/or non-conformance reports.
• Managing hazard identification and risk assessment management systems.
• Gathering and developing safety information in relation to safety review board (SRB) or other safety/compliance related meetings.
• Ensure effectiveness of feedback loop within the reporting scheme and identified non-conformances.
• Development and presentation of safety information within safety actions group (SAG) meetings.
• Conducting safety related training to staff, control that safety trainings meets acceptable standards.
• Providing advice on safety matters to FLT WBS safety and compliance manager.
• Developing organization training system, including information coming from incidents and identified issues.
• Recording of organizations safety performance indicators (SPI) and indicating if associated triggers are reached.
• Ensure that safety and compliance MACRO plan items are performed and closed in time.
• Occurrence reports are investigated in line to “Just Culture”, ensuring confidentiality rules have been applied.
• Attending safety and compliance department meetings and preparing the reports for safety and compliance manager. • Preparing and presenting the safety data for site specific meetings.
• Ensuring the hours worked within the safety and compliance department recording system are sufficiently recorded and correct.
• Supporting group level safety and compliance projects to improve safety performance within the group.
• Support external audits conducted of compliance and safety management system.
• Development of material for safety communication channels such as TV, CT, monthly newsletters etc. as applicable.
Elvárások
Safety and Compliance Engineer requirements are:
• Relevant engineering or technical degree, or experience in aviation environment or other engineering related experience or education • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Proficient in Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new systems
• Highly self-motivated and proactive with a willingness to take initiative
• Ability to work independently and to take responsibility
• Flexible approach to work, to match the operational requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new systems
• Must possess confident and effective communication skills when dealing with engineering staff during investigations and non-conformance discussions
• A valid passport with the unrestricted right to travel in the European Union
Position includes occasional traveling around the FLT WBS group companies upon demand

• Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies, investigatory and compliance auditing techniques
• Practical experience and expertise in the application of safety standards and safe operating practices
• Basic knowledge and understanding of EASA, FAA and UK CAA regulations
• Knowledge of industry Safety Management Systems requirements (SMS)
• Knowledge of Information Security Management System requirements (ISMS)
• Continuous improvement tools and methods
• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools/techniques
