Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate strategy aligned with overall business goals and objectives.
- Identify and analyze market trends, competitors, and opportunities to increase market share.
- Establish short- and long-term goals for the corporate and government segments and create actionable plans to achieve them.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies, adjusting as necessary to achieve targets.
Sales and Business Development:
- Lead proactive sales efforts to attract corporate and government business from both local and international markets.
- Conduct daily and weekly sales calls with potential and existing clients to promote Matild Palace’s offerings and secure new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, and travel management companies (TMCs).
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site inspections to showcase Matild Palace’s unique value proposition.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with corporate clients to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate untapped markets.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Partner with the digital team to improve online visibility and engagement with corporate clientele.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with operations, finance, and reservations teams to ensure seamless service delivery to corporate and government clients.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, internal stakeholders, and partners to foster trust and alignment.
- Provide regular updates, performance reports, and market insights to the Director of Sales.
- Contribute to revenue forecasting and budgeting processes by offering data-driven insights and recommendations.
Customer Experience and Relationship Management:
- Deliver exceptional client satisfaction by understanding client needs and delivering customized solutions.
- Act promptly and professionally to address client concerns, ensuring long-term loyalty.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring a consistent and seamless client experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in corporate sales or business travel sales, preferably within the luxury hospitality sector.
- Strong understanding of corporate travel trends, TMCs, and global distribution systems (GDS).
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and delivering unparalleled client experiences.
- Proficiency in sales-related technology tools, including CRM platforms.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
