• At least 5 years of frontend development experience
• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, CSS preprocessors (less/sass/scss), TypeScript and latest (ES6+) JavaScript standards
• Experience in JavaScript frontend frameworks (such as Angular, React, Vue.js)
• Good understanding of best practices of building cross-browser, device-independent interfaces and RESTful web services
• Open to learn new technologies every day
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
• Good English communication for both speaking and writing
• Familiarity with Git and branching models is an advantage
• It’s good to have experience with Jira, Confluence

As a U.S.-based cybersecurity leader, we’re expanding our R&D footprint in Hungary — and we’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team working on one of our most strategic solutions: MetaDefender Secure Managed File Transfer (MFT).

MetaDefender Secure MFT empowers enterprises to securely transfer sensitive files across systems, networks, and borders. Trusted by governments and global organizations, we are at the heart of secure data movement — and we’re expanding its future in Veszprém.

You’ll take part in designing and building the frontend interface of our secure file transfer platform, working closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and security experts. This is a hands-on role where you’ll shape the user experience and help grow our engineering presence in Hungary. As part of our cybersecurity-focused company, you will be developing cutting-edge software solutions that protect critical infrastructure from ever-evolving cyber threats. Your work will make a real impact—defending the digital front lines of industries, governments, and essential systems around the world.

1. Design and implement interactive dashboards and reporting interfaces, enabling users to visualize key metrics, audit logs, and system activity within the cybersecurity platform
2. Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces for our cybersecurity software products using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (mostly Angular)
3. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate user requirements and design concepts into functional frontend components and features
4. Lead early frontend architecture and technology stack decisions (e.g., framework, component architecture, state management)
5. Define the development workflow, including code structure, testing strategy, and CI/CD integration for frontend delivery
6. Implement frontend best practices, including modular code architecture, code reusability, performance optimization, and adherence to accessibility standards 
7. Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with backend APIs, services, and data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability
8. Take ownership of key UI components and application flows, for example:

10. Implement RBAC and approval workflows in the frontend
11. Integrate REST APIs and improve overall UX
12. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members
