Education:
- Degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Equivalent professional experience in software development and automated testing will also be highly valued.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Python Mastery: Expert-level Python coding skills, specifically using Pytest for test orchestration.
- Selenium Framework Design: Proven ability to build scalable Page Object Model (POM) frameworks from scratch for complex web applications.
- API & Microservices Automation: Deep experience in backend validation using libraries like requests or schemathesis to ensure seamless communication across microservices.
- CI/CD & DevOps: Hands-on experience embedding automated suites into GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins to enable „Shift-Left” testing.
- Database Proficiency: Comfort working with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch to validate data integrity and perform data-driven testing.
Preferred Skills and Achievements:
- Crawler Development: Experience building or maintaining web scrapers/crawlers using Selenium or Playwright.
- Performance Engineering: Proficiency in Locust or JMeter to simulate high-load scenarios on embedded threat platforms.
- Containerization: Strong understanding of Docker for managing test environments.
- Security Mindset: Familiarity with cybersecurity principles or testing AI/LLM-based applications (e.g., validating model outputs or prompt injection testing).
- Mocking & Simulation: Ability to mock external dependencies, such as third-party vulnerability databases, to ensure hermetic testing.
Soft Skills
- The „Break it” Mentality: A natural curiosity to find edge cases and a passion for building unbreakable systems.
- Autonomy: Experience working in a small, fast-paced team where you own the testing roadmap from start to finish.
- Collaborative Logic: The ability to communicate technical debt and quality risks clearly to both developers and product stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Comfortable switching gears between designing a test suite and contributing to production-level crawling logic.

PCA is looking for a SDET/Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) – a senior developer with focus on Selenium Frameworks & Quality Engineering – to become part of our team.

About the role:
- As a SDET/Senior SDET at PCA, you will be the architect of quality for our AI-powered Embedded Threat Intelligence platform. This isn’t a „click-and-verify” role. You will build the automated infrastructure that ensures our microservices, LLM integrations, and complex data pipelines are resilient and performant.
- The SDET will be involved in building frameworks and crawling engines.
- Unique to this role, you will bridge the gap between QA and Core Development by leveraging your Selenium expertise to help build and optimize our automated crawling engines—directly impacting the data that powers our threat intelligence.
