- Proven experience with implementing software engineering industry best practices and SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Great communication skills
- Fluent English knowledge
- Experience with working in startup environment is an advantage
- Cybersecurity domain experience, especially malware analysis or network security is a plus
Pozíció / projekt rövid leírása
We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineering Manager to join our Technology Development Center in Veszprém. Our team focuses on MetaDefender Managed File Transfer (MD MFT) solution. You will have a strong software programming background with the right personality to lead and set an example for the software development team.
Napi feladatok
- Work with a team of engineers and ensure they work at their peak performance
- Supervise training and development of software engineering staff
- Proactively communicate issues and resolve escalations with customer-facing teams like support and sales
- Develop a career path for all your team members, undertake performance evaluations
- Implement the product team’s roadmap, manage initiatives, and development life cycle using Scrum/Agile methodology
- Be a key stakeholder in the release management cycle
- Keep up to date with modern development technologies and methodologies
- Maintain success within team with continuous delivery and innovation
- Ensure documentation and materials are up to date
