Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Specialist will manage the external supply of Drug products for the company.
The purpose of this role is:
- The coordination of all Supply Chain activities as Supply/Demand Coordination for the ongoing supply of finished products produced by CMOs. (Contract Manufacturing Organizations)
- Managing short- and medium-term delivery, especially in the case of bottlenecks
- Coordination of all Supply Chain activities for launches and transfers regarding supply from CMOs.
- Ensuring timely product changes without any negative impact on market supply
- Ensure supply in line with supplier and customer service level targets by coordinating operational Supply Chain activities with CMOs and customers
- Act as escalation body for operational issues between customers and CMOs in case of disagreements regarding requirements, timelines or allocation of destruction costs
- Optimize total costs of supply including transactional and functional costs, inventories and destructions
- Manage Supply Chain Performance of CMOs especially on reporting, identifying root causes and defining improvement actions
- Ensure implementation of Supply Chain related Sanofi processes at CMO, mainly based on legal or regulatory requirements
- Support development and review Supply Chain processes
- Provide ad-hoc reports and information to other departments / functions related to Supply Chain parts of CMOs
- Establishment of supply chain meetings with regions/hubs
- Bottleneck Management of products manufactured and supplied by contract manufacturers
Requirements
- Bachelor and / or master degree on business administration and/or economics or alternatively professional education with experience in Supply Chain management related role.
- Managing of suppliers and customers as well as working experience in production, logistics or Supply Chain Management
- Supply Planning & Execution, Inventory Management, Replenishment Planning, English fluent, Project Management, Contract Management, Forecasting as well as good knowledge of MS Office
