Responsibilities
Technical Support Supervisor – for the European Youth Centre Budapest (EYCB)
Are you a committed professional in the field of technical support, AV and information technologies? Interested in supporting a dynamic programme of activities with young people at the EYCB?
Your role as a TS Supervisor of the contracted service provider for the EYCB:
– coordinate the day-to-day contacts with the EYCB and other services, and your team in charge of the technical support and conference services;
– provide technical assistance to the EYCB’s users and staff in the running of conferences, training courses and other meetings;
– ensure and participate in the preparation of working rooms and common areas, moving of furniture and materials;
– ensure the functional set-up of the mobile conference facilities, including simultaneous interpretation equipment, audio-visual systems and IT equipment;
Requirements
You must:
- have an intermediate level of general secondary education and appropriate professional qualifications;
- have a minimum of 2 years of relevant practical professional experience in handling AV and IT equipment;
- have a good knowledge of English, both in oral and written communication and at least basic Hungarian;
- good communication skills;
Nice-to-have
The ideal applicant should have the following competencies:
