Role Description :
This is a full-time on-site role as a Plant Manager
A fast growing packaging manufacturer on a global level is seeking a highly capable and experienced manufacturing Plant Manager to oversee our operations of our manufacturing facility located in Cegléd area. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and proven managerial experience. This role requires effective coordination of resources, personnel management, and ensuring efficient production to meet company goals and customer expectations. Responsibilities:
• Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules to ensure optimal use of resources and meeting production targets.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control standards to achieve high-quality products that meet industry regulations and customer specifications.
• Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for improving operational processes, implementing cost-effective measures, and maximizing productivity.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to maintain adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory and ensuring accurate tracking of materials.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage departmental budgets, controlling costs, and maintaining expenses within budgetary constraints.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of supervisors, engineers, and production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence throughout the manufacturing process
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Plant Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality control, and inventory management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- English/ Hungarian languages mandatory.
- Experience in the packaging industry is a plus.
